323 back to Singapore 8.6.2019

Yesterday Dini had established contact to Faisal who also stayed in KL for a few days. We agreed to meet at the bus stop before I would leave. Hasmik and I made a last small sightseeing tour bringing us tour the upside-down house

and the KL forest eco park near the KL tower. In the forest park, it was hard to find the exit because there were no signs, but the walk high up between the trees was nice.

We then came to the Jamek Mosque, the Sultan Abdul Samat building, the Merdeka square and along the River of life walk to the Central Market, which in fact now is a shopping mall for tourists.

After that, we arrived at Jg’s Nasi Kandar restaurant. We didn’t get the blue rice that I had seen in a guide but at least there were some Vegetarian options. Only the information that it would not be spicy at all was not true, but Hasmik had got plain rice and so we could mix it, to spice hers up and mine down.

We had only a small walk left to get to the Berjaya times square to meet Faisal.

Hasmik and Faisal now are the second couchsurfer “combination” to meet on this trip. There came two busses, both not the right company and at first they again said I would have to wait, and other passengers, too, but then I could enter after a quick good-bye and some other people had to wait, I cannot explain why, but by that at least I left nearly on time.
On the way, we lost enough time with 4 toilet stops (In the other direction it was one), traffic jams and a detour to fetch other passengers.
So, it was nearly 23:30 when I could meet Lulu and Darren. But it was too late for them for more than a short talk in the car. Lulu had bought some dumplings for me and on the way, I bought mangoes, the last time for long that I can get local ones.
I got again the room of the last stay to make another circle complete.
